Renegades Host the Power 05/29/08 Team Press Release The Alabama Renegades Women's Full Contact Football Team will host the Pensacola Power this Saturday, May 31, at Alabama A&M Stadium. The game will kick-off at 7:00pm. The game promises to be exciting one after the shoot-out these two teams had earlier in the season in Pensacola. Alabama came out victorious in that match-up by a score of 60-58. This was the first time ever that Alabama has beaten Pensacola in eight years of play. The Renegades record is currently 2-3 while the Power has won its last three games to have a record of 3-2. Tickets for the game are $12 for adults and $5 for kids. Children 12 and under are free. Adult tickets may be purchased prior to game day for a price of $10. Don't miss the exciting, hard-hitting action of women's full contact football this weekend! The Alabama Renegades are part of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA). There will be eight games played in the 2008 regular season. The team will travel to Cincinnati, OH, Louisville, KY, Chattanooga, TN, and Pensacola, FL. The NWFA is the largest league in the world for women's full contact football.
